Website Redesign
The Old Website Is Evidence, Not Just Something to Replace
An existing website contains years of information about what search engines, customers and other websites already value. A redesign should learn from that evidence before replacing the interface.

Every Important URL Gets a Decision
Keep
The URL and role still work.
Rebuild
The URL has value but the content/design need major improvement.
Merge
Several pages overlap and should become one stronger destination.
301 Redirect
The old URL should retire into the closest relevant replacement.
Remove
The page has no meaningful value or replacement.
Do Not Change URLs for Aesthetics Alone
A shorter or cleaner URL is not automatically worth moving a page that already has rankings, links and history. URL changes should create enough structural benefit to justify the migration cost.
Use the Old Site as Product Research
High-traffic pages, common conversions, support questions, abandoned paths and frequently edited sections all tell us what the new site needs to do better.
Post-Launch Is Part of the Redesign
We re-crawl production, verify redirects, check indexation and monitor important landing pages after launch. Migration problems are easiest to correct when they are detected immediately.
Can you redesign without changing our CMS?
Yes. A redesign may stay on WordPress, Shopify or another platform when the current environment still fits the business.
Can you move us to Lovable or another platform?
Yes when the new platform better fits the project. The migration plan should still protect valuable URLs and search history.
Will rankings drop after a redesign?
Temporary movement can happen, but a disciplined migration reduces avoidable losses. We do not promise zero fluctuation because search engines still need to process the new site.
